GlobalData found that over a quarter of UK shoppers are going to spend more online after the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. That’s why retailers with a limited or no online proposition must consider the investment to remain competitive.

According to a statement, COVID-19 is damaging the landscape of UK retail and easing restrictions won’t bring the recovery.

The data highlighted that 42.6% of UK shoppers are currently spending more than usual online, although 61% plan to keep doing so after the pandemic.

Along with that, as the online channel grows, offline retailers will face pressure, meaning they will have to consider the shift to online sales in order to retain them.

We’ve reported that PepsiCo?announced the launch of PantryShop.com and Snacks.com, where customers can order an assortment of PepsiCo’s products. Besides, shoppers can ship products as gifts to close ones via both platforms, which will arrive within 2 business days.
