The survey sheds light on women’s shopping plans
According to daVinci’s study, 80% of female respondents have no idea what they intend to buy or want to receive themselves just 8 weeks before the holiday shopping season begins.
When asked about how much they are going to spend during this holiday season vs previous, 27% intend to spend more, while 43% will spend the same. Only 30% are expected to spend less money compared to 2019.
Besides, 47% said that the biggest part of their holiday shopping is done online, while 45% preferred making online purchases on their phones.
The data also found that 21% of women would rather do 50%+ of their holiday shopping during Black Friday rather than Cyber Monday.
84% of women shoppers are more loyal to brands that surprise them with savings offers. In addition, 88% would use special offers that accompanied a prepaid award if they were items they found to be of good value.
We’ve reported that over the two days of Prime Day, on July 15 and 16 2019, sales surpassed the previous Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined. Prime members purchased more than 175 million items throughout the event.
