Germany becomes the fourth country in Europe where the Paris-based startup launches its active
Ankorstore makes its entry to Germany, according to Ecommerce News. The platform aims to adapt the distribution between brands and retailers to today’s needs.
In fact, this expansion became possible due to a €6 million funding in their first round, led by Global Founders Capital, Alven and Aglaé Ventures.
With Ankorstore, the founders are willing to make the B2C experience accessible to retailers.
Ankorstore’s goal in Germany alone is to target over 800,000 retailers by offering them access to thousands of brands. Furthermore, the French marketplace aims to give them the possibility to pay after 60 days and provide a low minimum order value, while retailers can test products before ordering in bulk.
Since its launch, more than 3,000 active retailers and over 400 brands have connected to the online B2B marketplace, Ecommerce News unveiled.
