The new solution simplifies the process of transportation
Guiyang, the capital of China’s Guizhou province, has introduced a new face verification ticketing system. It allows passengers to board buses and subway without showing a ticket, a card, or a smartphone.
Chinese users need to download a mobile app and register on it.?Afterward, they can verify their ID verification on self-registration terminals and take the subway or buses by having their faces scanned.
We’ve reported that iProov?has introduced?a facial biometric corridor that enables contactless journeys. Passengers using Eurostar railway services will be the first to take advantage of this new solution.
The walk-through system will allow customers to complete ticket checks eliminating the need to come into contact with people or hardware.
