The partnership combines Allianz Trade’s global corporate database with Two’s B2B BNPL technology, while Santander provides expertise in Working Capital Solutions
Allianz Trade, Santander Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) and e-commerce payments platform Two have partnered to develop a new B2B BNPL package aimed at large multinational corporates.
The joint solution offers merchants instant deferred payments at checkout. API integration is powered by Two’s proprietary BNPL technology. Santander CIB will finance upfront payments to sellers and credit terms to buyers globally from its?working capital programme.
Meanwhile, Allianz Trade ensures the whole value chain is secured against non-payment risk. The firm?assesses credit requests instantly, using its global corporate database of commercial, financial and strategic information about more than 80 million corporates worldwide.
Client sellers will also receive global multi-currency support. This system reduces the need for engaging multiple providers across technology, trade insurance, and trade credit.
Since the solution is instant, it would be specifically useful for firms that operate huge international sales volumes. Besides, the BNPL product will help large corporates to grow their online activity globally in a safe and seamless way.
Last year, Santander?rolled out its B2C BNPL platform Zinia across the available markets.?Zinia uses AI-based credit assessment technology developed by Santander’s Openbank to make real-time credit decisions.
